Description
The purpose of the Implement Barn was to store farming vehicles and equipment as well as the other supplies necessary for operating a small to medium size farm. Our structure, which is based on a compilation of several small barns found in the Midwest, is now starting to show its age having been erected when the fields were still plowed and harvested by a team of draft horses; the connected corral once serving as their home. Now the barn is the gathering place for John Deere, Massey Harris, McCormick Deering, and the like and the pen next door is home to the horses the current family uses for recreational riding. Weather beaten and full of character, the old barn, with its covered bay, displays the scars of use. Broken panes of glass are visible in her windows and extra doors and hatches have been cut into her walls whenever the farmer found the necessity for a new entry way.
The kit is laser cut wood.
Equipment, figures, & horses not included.
Barn measures 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ x 3″ high. The corral measures 6-1/2″ x 6-1/2″.
A former American Model Builders kit.
