Description

This building sat at the corner of 10th and Cement Street in Silverton, CO, across the street from the D&RGW Station. The 1895 records indicate the original building was owned by Stubbs and Jakway Lumber and Coal Co. Fred Goble took over in 1905 and expanded the building and operation. In the late 20’s the company was sold to William Mullin. The building was torn down sometime during the early 40’s.

This kit is made up of laser cut wood. The final footprint of the prototype building was 62″ x 131″ (HO scale – 8-1/2″ x 18″). The front wall was 25′ high (HO 3-1/2″).

The #2017 kit is scaled down to 62′ x 87′ (HO – 8-1/2″ x 12″). However, the kit is designed so optional expansion kits can be purchased separately to extend the length. Each kit #2018 adds 3″ to the length. Two of these kits plus the #2017 will give you the size of the prototype.

Also included is a wagon scale. Our price for the kit isĀ $20 below original listing.
